Live wedding paintings capture the power of deep connection and the feelings that stem from it. It may be joy, romance, or the warmest sense of home—but whatever that feeling is for you, I would be honored to translate it into a piece that makes you smile every time you see it.
I paint in a semi-abstract, impressionistic style. My work is not photo-realistic and is not focused on detailed portraits or exact likenesses. My style is also naturalistic, meaning I paint the scene as it actually was- describing the beauty of what was there in one dreamy panorama.
Each couple’s painting is a unique composition based on the aesthetics of their wedding, their personal preferences, and anything that seems particularly magical on the wedding day.
I work with couples who trust my artistic vision and want something that feels like an old world oil painting rather than a photograph. If you want your wedding interpreted in a way that feels fluid, alive, and true to the experience, I’d love to paint for you.

I’m Laura, a pioneer in live wedding painting. Over the past two decades, I’ve painted hundreds of weddings in all kinds of environments. Along the way I’ve honed a process that’s equal parts intuition and intention.
I combine extensive old-world art education and real world wedding experience to capture the moment in a flowing and painterly way.
